Whether that was simple open pallets or more protective wooden packaging such as crates or packing cases. Since leaving the European Union, UK exporters have been faced with the additional hurdle that all of their exports being transported in wooden crates or cases are now subject to the same restrictions that previously only applied to countries outside the zone, such as: the USA, Canada, Australia & other countries keen to protect their eco-systems from pests being carried in untreated timber packaging and other items.
