Free event to create business management solutions for small companies and start-ups
FileMaker Platform offers small businesses an escape from spreadsheets
London, UK – 22 January 2014 – FileMaker – an Apple subsidiary, will be helping entrepreneurs and small businesses to free themselves from the shackles of spreadsheets and take control of their business data in a free event at Old Street coffee shop, Look Mum No Hands, on 28th January.
Businesses will be invited to bring their spreadsheets or other data forms to the event and chat to a FileMaker expert, who will show them how to develop a bespoke data solution for their small business while they enjoy a coffee.
Tony Speakman, director, Northern Europe, FileMaker, comments: “We have worked with many high growth companies and start-ups that were being held back by an inefficient approach to managing and using their business information; whether they were using paper forms of data capture, having endless conflicting versions of the same spreadsheets or sharing data by email attachment.
We’ve seen what a huge impact even simple custom business solutions can have in allowing companies not just to grow, but to manage that growth effectively. We’d like to share this with more of London’s businesses in the epicentre of its start-up community.”
The event will take place at Look Mum No Hands, 49 Old Street, EC1V 9HX, all day from 10am on Tuesday 28th January 2014.
Businesses who would like to attend should let FileMaker know via Twitter – @UKFileMaker – or by emailing filemaker@chameleonpr.com.
